LESSON 1
Greeting
First the teachers-in-training will greet and introduce themselves. On the board you will find various parts of the body such as eyes, mouth, nose, ears, legs, stomach, back, face, cheeks, hands and arms. One of the teachers will use the phrase: “Today I woke up thinking about a very important part of my body: my eyes” and point it out, then each student will be able to pass and point out a part that they consider important in their body.
Warm up
The students will be placed in a round table. Teachers in training will present 3 cards:
Blue – What’s your name?
Red – How do you feel today?
Green – Name a part of your body.
Then the teachers-in-training will perform the dynamic: Fast, Fast, stop! Whoever has the ball, must go to the center, choose a card and respond to the orientation.
PRE-TASK
The story will be shown on the television, and at first students will be asked what they think the story is based on, if they look at the cover, and as the students listen to the story they will also interact with it, as we will also stop at each of the pages to see what the particularity of each penguin is and students will have the possibility to name a particularity they would like to have.
TASK
When the story ends, each student will be given the silhouette of one of the penguins, so they can identify what the particularity of this one was, and remember the parts of the body within the story.
POST-TASK
Students will share their silhouettes with the course, and then look again at the television where they will be presented with a video with examples of flip book, so they can think about the action of theirs and make sketches of the drawings they will use for this one.
